My Thoughts:

This is the first book that I’ve read by Tammara Webber. I won this book from a contest over at fiktshun, and I’m sooo glad I did. This book is amazing. Based on reading the summary, I didn’t expect this book to be as deep and romantic as it was.

Jacqueline is a character most college age girls can relate to. She is devastated by the break up with the guy she had been dating for three years, the guy who she changed her plans for so she could follow him to college, but once they got there he decided he wanted to ‘sow his oats’. I love how the book doesn’t dwell on the break up between Jacqueline and Kennedy (who is an ass, btw) but is more about her starting over her life without him.

The book starts out with a life-altering moment for Jacqueline, which was an assault by her ex’s frat brother. While she is trying to fight this guy away Lucas swoops in and saves her. Lucas is the sexy, tattooed artist who she also learns is very sweet and genuine. I love the growth of Jacqueline’s relationship with Lucas, the romance was very sweet and it unfolds beautifully.

This book can get very emotional. There are a lot of very deep issues within this book with sexual assault only being one of them. I think Ms. Webber dealt with these issues with compassion which made it very realistic.

Easy is an incredibly heartfelt and emotional read that had me hooked from the very first page. If you haven’t read this yet, you need to pick it up asap.
